Learn about Medicaid

For people who are eligible, the waivers provide services in the community as an alternative to receiving services in an institution or to delay entry into a nursing facility. The programs provide assistance with activities of daily living to Medicaid recipients who have a chronic illness, medical condition or disability. These programs empower persons with disabilities and older adults to live healthy and safe in a community setting.

These programs include:

  • Community First Choice
  • Community Options Waiver
  • Community Personal Assistance Services
  • Brain Injury Waiver
